 | As indicated in the Current Status section,
West Virginia is currently behind Pennsylvania as far as construction and completion
schedules. West Virginia is expected to begin their 4.2 mile section in
Spring 2000 and not complete it until early 2004. This will leave the Pennsylvania section
incomplete until 2004 requiring southbound travelers to exit the expressway prematurely at
Gans Road, the last interchange in Pennsylvania before traveling into West Virginia.
